Hello fellow sustainability enthusiasts, I'm Natalie.

Let's be real...there is a lot of work to be done on healing our Earth. However, there are also some really incredible people in this world who are making a difference and giving me hope that change is possible. I started SUSTI to shine a light on these wonderful humans, whether they are individuals, small businesses or non-profits.

I read an article a few weeks ago about sustainable startups across the United States. Whether these startups were running their businesses carbon neutral or offsetting tons (literally, TONS) of waste annually, it brought me joy; it brought me the motivation I needed to work harder towards a more sustainable life and I hope that it will bring the same to you.

Frankly, there is still a lot to worry about with pollution, climate change, food waste, and the socio-economic disparities that are direct results of these core issues. That's what makes these sustainable citizens and businesses so important! Anytime things get dark and you think that you are merely one, single person who cannot make a difference, take a look at the lives and work of these upcoming spotlights, and find your light again. Every action makes a difference. Never forget that.
